December SeasonsBox Review

What's inside??

I was contacted by the founder of SeasonsBox to do this review and i was really intrigued with this subscription service after learning that the products included in the SeasonsBox were natural, organic and good for you! Each month's box includes 4 or 5 FULL SIZED products and 1 or 2 bonus gifts as well!

This was my first time receiving a subscription box service and i was really pleased to see the variety of products- most of which i have never tried before but im really looking forward to testing it out for the first time.

SeasonsBox ships to the US & Canada and you can sign up for a monthly subscription or just a one time purchase. I think this would make a unique gift for someone! You can also preview what is included in each month's box prior to purchase, if you wish. I prefer not to know so i can be surprised and i think that is part of the fun with these subscriptions!

Visit their website for more info: https://seasonsbox.com

Thats right, if you can have an "arm party" you can most definitely have a neck party! Now that seasons have changed, i've dug out my sweaters and long sleeves to bundle up. Although this is a necessity, it does nothing for my arm party; so i've adverted to necklaces of all kinds.

I've really been inspired to create interesting and unexpected layered necklace looks paired with really simple outfits. I think the layered (borderline gaudy) look perfectly suits and balances a basic top. With the holidays near, you can easily add a bit of sparkle and interest to any outfit with statement layering pieces. I've also developed a liking for mixing metals, colors & textures- the possibilities are endless!

DIY Studs & Embellishments

I've been coveting this trend thats been going around and i finally decided to put on my crafty pants to stud and embellish a few basic pieces out of the closet. Good news is i ended up saving my wallet on this project with inexpensive materials found at the craft store and an old forgotten sweatshirt ($10) from Wal-Mart along with a thrifted camo jacket ($5, in the video i accidentally said $3- forgive me).

Speaking of the video, you can watch it here :

The Knitty Gritty

Although i am not a fan of the dropping temperatures and the slow realization that winter is near- there is something i completely love about crawling into a big, billowy, knit sweater. People always wonder why i prefer over sized knits for my petite build but honestly how can you not like feeling like you are wearing a cozy blanket around? I'll take two! Its one of the things i look forward to with colder weather.

Halloween Spirit

I never actually try to keep my halloween costumes a "surprise", it just buys me lots of time to be indecisive and figure out potential costumes. This year i will be a creepy porcelain doll complete with big pink bow and a ridiculously frilly outfit (add me on Instagram or Twitter for sneak peek pics) but i'll upload pictures later on.

I'm happy i got a chance to do a few Halloween costume tutorials for you guys to give you some ideas and i had a lot of fun doing them! Come to think of it, these were my very first tutorials on my channel- Rest assured, i will try to continue creating future tutorials. **Watch the full tutorials on my channel**

Thrift Seeker

Every now and then i'll need to get my thrifting fix. There's just something about thrifting for vintage and one of a kind goods that is incredibly satisfying. I have grown a lot from my days of weary thrift shopping. You have to look at everything creatively and with an open mind- lots of things can be tweaked to fit or made into something totally new! I mostly see my trips to the thrift store as new adventures.

So i decided to lug my camera along with me on one of my trips to share some unique and fabulous finds!
